I saw my profit disappearing and had visions of .30's and almost got squeezed out at under .42, but held off - crossing fingers we go back to high .40's today.

    It would be really something.

This is what I was worried about when the rate hike was announced.

If enough people start drawing attention to this, what happens next?

I know nothing about the royalty calculations. My guess is it's not as simple as these articles lead one to believe. The MSM is infamous in oversimplifying calculations to meet their own agenda. If there's something to this, FCC will step in and force SXM to explain itself. I'm sure SXM is prepared to deal with this.

well did that guy add up what siri has ALREADY PAID, they are not trying to make just future royaslties back but past royalty payments as well.

I have a feeling Sirius will not be removed from the Russel 2000. There is too much to lose with the trading of this stock and the Russell is mostly based on market cap, not price.

i didn't read the article above, but yes the royalties rate hike is to pay back past royalties dating back to 2007 i think, and it was also in the FCC documents for the merger that they can do it to recover backwards.

I think its distasteful that radio stations are announcing tributes for Michael Jackson less than 24 hours later to capitalize on his online death hype. I have seen announcements from Sirius XM and Slacker so far and its just dirty marketing.
