Exactly, I bought that little iPod stock back when I went into college, by the time I graduated, I used that giant iPod to buy my first house.

As far as I know, none of these services are publicly traded.

    Rant #2

by the end of next week My wife, mother and father will have SXM in their vehicles. None of them would subscribe until they had a built in unit. All 3 have new cars.

My brother had sirius from the first 600k subs and tried to convince me, but i wouldn't budge until they had a portable. Now i got my portable.

My wife and I have never wanted nor will we ever own an ipod.

    I am younger than 35.

I hear ya on that Romo . . the I-Pod Nano for me, however, is convenience due to the small size and the fact that I can clip it inside my waste-band during a 5 mile race . .. light, small, sturdy and the right mix of preselected music for race motivation.

    I am older than 35.

sure it has its place, especially for a motivational run now doubt. Good luck.

To me collecting songs on an ipod is like collecting Beanie Babies.

FYI - Im just expressing my opinion, not attacking anyone.
