    Stiletto 2/Sirius hardware questions

I've currently got the Stiletto 2. I would like to add Sirius to my 2 vehicles. I have a 2005 Chevy Silverado and a 2006 Chevy Impala. Now I would like to keep just one subscription, and not have to have one for each vehicle. The most obvious answer would be to get a car kit for each vehicle and just take my Stiletto with me wherever I go.

However, I would like to make it more "factory" like. I want to be able to change radio stations with my steering wheel buttons, ect. Basically I want my Stiletto to act as a Sirius tuner for my GM factory radio. Is this possible to do or am I stuck just having to go the car kit route?

Unless you are an electronics wizard or know one... I would say you are stuck with having to get a car kit. What you are describing would be a lot of advanced custom wiring work.

If both of the vehicles are satellite ready, meaning they have the capability of controlling a satellite tuner, then I may have the answer for you. All of these parts will help your cars radio understand what the stiletto 2 is doing and be able to change it's channels.

For your 05 Silverado you would need these parts:

    http://www.tss-radio.com/isimple-pgh...ss-p-6693.html
    http://www.tss-radio.com/isimple-pxa...le-p-6694.html
    http://www.tss-radio.com/sirius-conn...c1-p-5641.html

For your 06 Impala you will need these parts:
    http://www.tss-radio.com/isimple-med...ay-p-6689.html
    http://www.tss-radio.com/isimple-pgh...ss-p-6696.html
    http://www.tss-radio.com/isimple-pxa...le-p-6694.html
    http://www.tss-radio.com/sirius-conn...c1-p-5641.html

Now if you want to use your steering wheel controls, all that depends on how the car was programed for satellite radios. I'm not guaranteeing that these functions will work. As well, you will loose your stilettos ability to pause, rewind, and fast forward in the car. Keep all of this in mind with making a decision.
