Got a call today from Joe with TD Ameritrade.
I now appear to have my very own "guy" at TDA who I can call at any time with any questions or problems. This is a very nice touch. I feel like they actually value me as a client even though my account hasn't transferred over yet.
Also just downloaded the iStockManager app for my iPhone as well.
This TDA thing has already paid off, and I have yet to make one buy/sell with them.
hey greg , the tdameritrade experience is amazing, hands down no reason to use any other broker.
I'm very intrigued by the trend-finding tools that TD Ameritrade says that they offer. GT Solar and CDIV have worked out well for me and one of the main reasons that I invested heavily in them was the prolonged upward trend of their share price.
Is there a way to use TD Ameritrade's stock tools to find penny stocks whose share price periodically spikes upward by 20% or more?

hey danzo im not sure you can filtr through the ay and see stocks that are moving and filter them in any way you want really. i know they have alot of tools i have used them all so maybe they have what u are looking for.
I can probably use the pattern matcher to find the upswings for the penny stocks and sell them on their upswing.
Rick, I'm gonna sell about $2,000 of my Etrade portfolio and start an TD Ameritrade account. It'll take me a day or two to sell my stocks and there's a four day hold on withdrawling money from my etrade brokerage account. I'll let you know when I've got my money out and you can refer me to TD Ameritrade sometime next week. Sound good?
I started my account transfer from Sharebuilder to TDA on Mar. 23. On Mar.31 my portfolio transfer was completed.
Today April 7 TDA deposited the check from my trading account . So all told not a bad time frame at all & TDA gave me 500 free trades too.
My Etrade stock screener doesn't have an option for searching OTCBB. Is it easy to research OTCBB stock on TD Ameritrade?
