guess they didn't like our $2 orders
Sometimes I wonder if the MM's are just trying to A. Piss people off, make them think the stock is going no where, hence they sell. B. Lull them to sleep, so they sell out of boredom. (not enough excitement to get the adrenalin pumping)or C. Are working with some huge short to let them unwind. It's just not trading normal for any stock I've ever seen.
I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!
I think I'll have a bowl of chili and some corn chips and take a nap...
Para,
I think we really need to do something about it. If emails, phone calls can't make them take any action, let's come up with some other idea...
Here's one from my own experiencewithout any specific names)
Back in 2007, a lot of people suffered due to inaction/wrong actions of a certain govt agency costing thousands of families some big heart-breaks, some even lost thousands of dollars and thousands lost a chance at making their dream come true.
We wrote to them, emailed them, contacted lawmakers....and then we came up with an idea we stole from a movie..
100s of us sent flowers to the head of that department---delivered on the same day, via the same courier service... each bunch of flowers accompanied by a card that read something like "Thanks for putting us through this trouble by taking such and such unprecedented action.........We hope we will come out stronger from this......." ...
hundreds of bouquets reached that office in one truck ... Media was also informed and some small channels sent their reporters at the delivery time.
I don't know whether it was the flowers or something else, the department took their earlier decision back and agreed to every single request we had, within 1 week of that event..
Not saying we should do this, but we need something other than emails, which we all know is a routine for them
Won't get mad - I realize we are yelling at the deaf (SEC)....
The thing is this......(doing my Glen Beck impersonation)
It is up to us as concerned investors and citizens of this country to at least do our part to right the wrong. If we all lay down and do NOTHING - we are allowing them to have a free pass. It is our constitutional right to voice our dissent about activity in direct violation of the law - and this type of manipulation IS ILLEGAL. Period. I mean WTF are we complaining about if we aren't willing to take the measures to correct the problem.....
I will give you some hope.......
Uptick rule coming back....
International policy is shifting - and there is a major call out across the investment world right now for more oversight and policing of the markets...
If you want an example - dig into the news yesterday about the results of the G-20 summit in London - they specifically implied they are out to police the hedge funds and others abusing the system....
I think things are getting ready to improve... right now we are in the trenches looking for a miracle -
I think the shorts/MM's days are more numbered than they realize.
Heres a first step:
Look back in the historic forum threads - you will see many of us were on a letter writing frenzy a few weeks ago when the MM's took us down from .43
All you new guys that want to participate and help try to influence the SEC can use the letters we wrote as examples...
Here is a link to the thread:
http://siriusbuzz.com/forum/showthre...?t=1641&page=2
And by all means call ISEG and complain.... they just LOVE that.... as we found out a few weeks back.... funny how we started to see things improve after the letters......
Unfortunately it comes and goes in waves...
Once the volume of letters and calls slows down - they figure they've cleared the pressure and it gets worse...
