I'm going to let you in on a little secret. I got a notice from Sirius that my bill was due. It said I would be shut off in 48hrs. I was too busy and forgot to call. All of a sudden the 2 week free started, while my radio was still activated. I figured, hmmm. I guess I have 2 more weeks to pay. When the trial promo ended, I called and paid my bill as I received another e-mail.

I have since seen postings that Sirius did not not deactivate many people that got those letters. The deactivations are at Sirius' discretion, and they simply could have held off on many of those until the quarter ended, as they attempted to get 1.5 million subs into "compliance."

I'm betting on this to be a wise move in a quarter of potentially breakeven subs and feel this will result in positive sub growth.

Ya gotta laugh at the three optimists (restricting their share from being borrowed) setting sell prices at $2,000 and $75.35 at a block of 100 each, let alone the 325,263 at $5.00.

The block of 600 at the reachable price of .76 has the SPIRIT!!

If we all did this with our shares, small 500-600 shares sell orders with incremental increases going up, would it be more difficult for the MMs to manipulate the price?

Looks like C might be making a little upward momentum today. SIRI appears to be in that holding pattern again so far this AM.

Finally making the switch to TDA so I can trade .0001 and b/c of all the tools that everyone in here has talked about. I appreciate all the insight and was wondering if anyone who currently uses TDA wanted to send me a referral email. Jelax11@yahoo.com

They have box asking if I was referred so I figured since you guys are so willing to teach us novices a few things the least I could do is say someone referred me so they can get free trades or whatever incentive it is.

Thanks again for being so selfless with your knowledge.

    Long Siri

    jelax,

good move. I already opened up both an IRA account and a regular account but am still waiting for my assets to transfer. Been a couple of weeks now, anyone have any answers on that.
