Blame Bush if you want. But what alternatives did the liberal left offer.

    Al Gore & John Edwards?

Gore would have won but he couldn't even carry his own state.

John Kerry & Joe Lieberman? Get serious.

I hope Republicans give the current President the kind of support the Democrats withheld from President Bush because Soldiers,Sailors, Marines and Wing-wipers (I mean Airmen) are still in harms way and will be for a long time to come. America in general still does not understand the war or the enemy but they will once President Obama comes to understand. We cannot negotiate. (you need both sides willing to accept the others compromises)
I am going to resist and not jump into the war dialogue other than to say - back to the Pelosi statements....

Was she even born human or was she dropped here by aliens to torture the human race? I remember that B!T*H saying we had lost when I was sitting in Baghdad listening to the IED's increase thanks to her "confidence" in her own country's war effort.... stupid C$#%T

OK... back on topic... so what day do we bust the .40 wall.....:?

Yeah had to wait for the Peace Prize...couldn't contradict AL Gore ya know. Then when it snowed in Baton Rouge this year....everyone blamed it on Katrina. Be glad you are not watching tax payer money thrown at poor hurricane planning. Did you all know that the same houses that got 13 feet of water during Katrina got 3.5 feet of water during Gustav....and you got it...homes are being repaired again...and you wonder why FEMA has no cash. And...people still living in hotels because of Katrina and you got it tax payers footing the bill...crazy stuff.

Just saw we are in politics today. Interesting to see how easy some of you use the expressions "socialist and fascism". I know socialism first hand and my parents/inlaws grew up in the Hitler-Era, believe me it is more horrible than you could ever imagine.
    Hey, Choirgirl...

Thanks for your persepctive and well said..many of us use those terms because we feel we start "resembling" true socialist and true fascist conditions. The staunch and hardcore to which you refer. But anyone who grew up in the US doesn't really have a clue as to how bad it could really be. I'm sure most who sling those terms will acknowledge that as I do. We just whine a little when we see things seemingly headed that way...it's more our comparison and our desire NOT to have to really see or live through those conditions in the future than anything...

A nice gain today..makes the portfolio look just a liiiiiitle but better!
