Sorry. I'm not a big music guy and will surf occasionally but prefer talk content. I do have 5 subs and 31,000 shares. That will have to cover it for now. I will likely buy an iphone when the app comes out and gets a decent review.

    to johnny and romo:

The lifetime subs are still being sold for $399 last I heard. Lifetime subs with best of are $499.

This locks in content AND internet for the lifetime of 3 radios, with a $75 transfer fee for each new radio. If you figure your average car lasts 4 years, that is 12 years for $650 (with best of). Even at looking at hardward, if you plan on keeping a portable player for 2 years each, that is 6 years for $650.

If you take johnny's example, he paid $445 for 3 years with best of. If he renews the contract for another 3 years, (assuming prices do not RISE), it will be a total of $900 for the same 6 year period. Don't forget, after the first 3 years is over, you then have to pay for internet if you want to use it.

johnny: XM does not have the lifetime option on their website. You have to call customer service. Better call NOW since I think internet fees start tomorrow? (or maybe today... not sure)

BTW: I am also an XM subscriber. The only reason I got best of was for the NFL. I could care less about howard, but I am also a shareholder and the company needed my money!

there are lots of good programming, but I don't have time to listen to all of it, so best of works for me.

Thanks for the info Newman,i also got it for the NFL and i'll have this car 3 more years and then who knows what kind of options will be out there then with inerops and promo's.I'm happy with 3 year price and internet, i could care less,it just so happens to include it.My next car could come with an inerop for free for a year,so that makes it worthwhile.I didn't realize about $75 exchange of radio fee, that sucks and must go...
