10-4 General...Jets are fueled and ready to deploy. Just hit .19 and looks like the hill is clear for the taking....Let's do this!

I doubt it. The MMs are completely ignoring sell orders. They put up those million share bids because they are selling from their own positions at .19 instead of allowing a run up and a free market.

This whole deal was a three way play from the beginning, completely orchestrated from behind the scenes. The info we get is no where near the truth of what happened from Dec. to Feb. We might never know the truth, but I guarantee you we never had it. They need to manuveur this way to avoid government scrutiny, and keep outside bidders out of sat technology and involvment(att verizon, etc.. are the enemies to these services.) Kind of like ground attack vs. air attack. They have the air covered, and the other companies wanted a piece. All 3 companies know the huge potential here, and its not going to be easy going against the likes of the ground wifi, cell phone technologies. Cable TV, terristrial radio, basically all the old media delivery platforms vs. the new wave, satellite technology. Going to be a hard road to win, but win they can.
rel, I have felt all along pretty much the same way you feel about this. One difference is I think it has been going on even way before December and you're right, they have every reason to stick together as thick as thieves. Personally, I am happy to have some (hopefully) cooler heads going forward...meaning a little more visionary and proactive. I take nothing away from Mel when it comes to being an operator and he's one of the best when it comes to cost control and to a degree negotiating some heavy duty deals. The combination should work quite well. CC seems to have been well received and we now need to keep this momentum going...as in siriusonthego!
