Im not Mel is. So is the press release. I just stated that 2 days ago it was a done deal. In fact my quote was...."its a done done deal".
See, I even used 2 "dones" in there. LOL
I hate to think someone sold out on fearmongering and thought BK was still on the table. It wasnt, never was, and I feel vindicated.
As for the MM's and the stock price, that will come with time. Cant help that. My guess is Brandons article did more harm than you think.

No way does a blogger have any impact whatsover on a stock that is as liquid as Sirius -- the volume of the stock is too high for there to be an impact.

Only stocks that are illiquid with light volume can a blogger have a notable impact.

I've followed these (Sirius and XM) for many many years -- only one time did I ever see an article from a smaller consultancy have any impact on the pps... and that was over 5 years ago, back when XM had just 160MM shares outstanding with extremely light trading.

Sorry, that's just the way it is.

Maybe some are waiting to hear if Malone converts his shares to common right away? Just a thought..

Under the existing terms of their agreement, SIRIUS XM has issued
Liberty an aggregate of 12.5 million shares of new preferred stock
convertible into 40% of the common stock of SIRIUS XM

Ok Homer, but you dont know "for sure" do you. Your guessing. Lets at least agree, it "didnt help". Hows that? Now, if its fact based, and must be written, then write it. But as you yourself said it was full of bs, you diddnt agree with the numbers, and its impact on even one person has "consequences" to that author.
