    the latest fool article

    2. Sirius XM Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI), $0.14
The original "dollar menu" article included Sirius XM, back when it had just dipped below the $1 mark. Things obviously haven't gotten any better for shareholders, even though the company's near-term prospects improved substantially when it received a $530 million capital infusion from Liberty Media (Nasdaq: LINTA) last month.

The likely alternative would have been a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, so investors skirted disaster. However, Liberty's money didn't come cheap, with Sirius committing to a hefty 15% interest rate on the first part of the infusion and surrendering 40% of the company for the rest.

In short, Sirius XM got a lifeline to get it through the next few months. The bad news is that the heavy dilution will keep stock gains in check in the future.

WASN'T DILUTION ALREADY PRICED INTO the then .06-.011 SP? This guy is ridiculous trying to play both sides and cover all scenarios and try to sound prophetic either way...

Like the Pilgrims, we had two choices at SA. Live in their unfinished basement or seek new lands..basements are too damp for the dog..They disallowed us from posting on articles anymore..

You're being way too nice about it. I prefer my explanation better.

    what's up asm & koop...

Asm, I was looking into a new BB. I'm still not a fan of this "page" system. Being able to scroll through all posts is way better. This one company gives a 30 day trial. I might just set it up and see how it comes out. I can always get a refund if we don't like it...

    dmo...

There is still the matter of I believe 24M shares of dilution from the Liberty deal yet to come. That dilution was not necessarily priced in when the SP hit .06. That was pending BK. The dilution would still hit the stock but A. we don't know when and B. With this many shares out the SP would recover from the hit...we saw like a 50M Fund liquidation that took the SP down a few cents then it bounced back.

sl62, I dont think it was anything more then the fact that SA articles could no longer be viewed after a day or 2, due to the amount of comments. The fact is we were hurting their site. the less views means less they can charge their advertisers.

    Welcome guys.

Did they wholesale block users? Or did they pick and chose posts to display? I am just curious how so many of you wound up here.

There are hardly any rules around here, no spamming and make sure that you don't use **** in every other word in your post... a little **** here an there is fine

So rather then getting creative and paginating the comments... they simply waited for them to get so long that the page could no longer be loaded? Ha. What a huge lost opportunity.
