Noob to the forums...I have been reading for about a month now.

Anybody have an idea or give me a breakdown of how this affects the companies debt? Particularly May and December...does this give Sirius the money to be able to handle those? How far out is the debt pushed now?

I know everyone is excited about today, but I figured for those who are in this longer term, these are questions that should be looked at. I'm a simpleton, so take it easy on me if you don't think this is relevant.

100M in second phase is to pay for bank note due in May. The other 250M due will get extended to probably 2010/2011. They have not addressed the remaining 200M+ remaining for Dec. Got plenty of breathing room for now! IMHO..I think Mel believes that we should be FCF+ and may be able to pay it off. Ergan holds some of these notes...or that's what has been reported.

Hi guys,

Been lurking around here for a couple of months now. Your input has been really helpful. I am admittedly very much a newbie, SIRI being my first stock outside of the punishment and foolishness of my current employers options that I have taken a real pounding on, learning my first real painful lesson and in effect making me learn at least something about the market.

I bought up all that I could Friday but still am in now @ a measly 2400 @ about .12 avg. Had moved some cash Thurs. and again Friday but Etrade has it held until later in the week (frustrating).

Now that the news has finally been confirmed it looks like the next event is reporting due the 23rd or 24th? Curious on your takes where we might be prior to .. I am looking to add and am in no hurry, definitely long, especially after four years of prior pain in holding too long.

I know many of you have a great deal invested and have read so much here that it must be an incredible relief this morning.

My bad. malones full investment, will leave an additional 288M COH. That could be used for Dec debt.

Thanks. Let's hope that Mel & Co. can put this behind them and focus on the operations and cutting costs. Anyway, should be an exciting day to say the least!!!

Why do you watch CNBC? FBN had Tuna on earlier. Basically he said that this ONLY takes them to the next hurdle....the MAY debt. He also said he was shocked at the 15% interest rate.
