SIRI had a hell of a day. After some of the bullish articles that have come out over the past couple of days, I would not be surprised to see a small pop with the announcement of the date for the q4/2008 YE CC. I expect that announcemtn either Thursday or Friday.

Did not get into CTGI today. Popped for a while to 0.14, but settled back down to 0.10 for the close. I had a buy order at 9, but it never activated.

BAC is getting closer and closer to my $5 ask price.

My new targets are Ford and GM. They announced crap results today and is expecting it to continue at least through the beginning of the year. This does not bode well for Sirius, as they are now projecting just over 9 million new cars sold this year. An interesting article on the announcement though, as a couple of quotes stuck out at me.
If you're starting from an extremely low point, pretty much anywhere you go is up," said Bragman, whose company has predicted annual sales for this year of 10.3 million, down from last year's 13.2 million and 16.1 million in 2007.
    and
Pipas said, predicting year-over-year declines until perhaps later in the year. Then, he said, with only a small increase, sales should surpass the dismal levels seen at the end of 2008.
I think Ford is the best positioned out of the two.

I am interested in AIB. As goes the sector, so goes the stock. But this stock has been beaten to death for no real reason. I think it is vastly undervalued, but I still have not had time to read into their financials, though, and I am a big financials guy. May get a few shares just to get into it, which will FORCE me to do the research.

Just my thoughts. Nice action today...

Take Tripps knowledge, Oracle, they nationalized without a hitch, unlike banks in America
Fill him in, Tripps...............GOOD stuff. I might buy Ford...kind of like Chrysler in the early 80's. I made tons off of Chrysler when it was down at $4.00, so think what this could do. After a day of crumby car reporting. it is the best to buy. Buy the negative and reap...reap...reap..I am going to buy (F) tomorrow morning after the dust settles at a lower price, hopefully. AIB is an awesome stock...don't miss this opportunity. If AIB goes cheaper I will buy, if Ford goes cheaper than AIB I will buy...either one is great. I used to work at Boeing and the CEO for Ford used to be the CEO for Boeing. All the employees hated him (CEO's are never wrong you know). Either he is hustling the market and really needs money, or is holding back for a piece of the action, I don't know, but he has had a convincing case. I think the guy can play good cards.

    Ford

    Bought Ford (F) this morning....haha

Thanks for the heads up on AIB, but I got up too late. I looked at my alarm clock and freaked out. I missed a good opportunity. I might buy some more (F) or (AIB) tomorrow depending upon the price. I also am going to look at GM...really, they aren't going anywhere. No Chevies? Blasphemy. haha That is like BAC..with a name like that, how could it go under? Somebody has to make cars in the U.S. and Ford is in the best financial condition.

Tripps, I was reading that comment that you made in the Ford investment thread this morning and am still laughing. Good one.

    Egle

Look at EGLE this morning +1.62 over yesterday's +.62

Well....If we can axe our way through 8350 today on the DOW and stay above 1500 on the NAS, then we will be in really good shape.

As long as we stay above 8000 and 1500 at the close we could well be on our way.

    So far it is encouraging.

SIRI is doing o.k. so far...so this could be a good day. It seems like SIRI, so far, has some pretty good back bone.

    BUY FORD CARS AND TRUCKS!

Got into BAC at $4.91. Missed the opportunity on AIB, will look at it further today.

CTGI is up 30% as I write this to 0.13. This might not be a bad candidate for a day trader..

GM down, Ford up. SIRI Unchanged at the time of this writing.

That is a good buy on BAC. I overslept this morning and missed AIB, and bought Ford @1.99....of course it is @1.98 as I write this.

CTGI was up to .14 earlier today.

It's a good time to keep an eye on AIB. I would like to get it for 2.65, but then again it wouldn't break my heart if it shot straight up.

You waited longer than I did.

I did manage to pick up some AIB at 2.91 though...

Not sure what it is about the 0.91s I like so much...
