Open letter to Mel & Seth

Thanks for not listening to all the subscribers clamoring for Boombox
39 to come back. It seems like you feel the little changes on Alt
Nation, such as mixing in Pendulum, will be enough.

Apparently you people don't understand music. Following Pendulum -
Propane Nightmares on Alt Nation this afternoon was Blink 182. Let me
repeat that, because you obviously don't understand the contrast.
    Pendulum versus Blink 182.

Hell, let me link the two songs so you can compare:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZBQMJlVXyc
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3O97...eature=related

Hear the difference? How in the world are these two songs on the same channel?

You people continue to prove you have no idea what you are doing with
the type of music that was on Boombox. You are trying to integrate it
into a channel where it makes absolutely no sense to.

Thanks to great radio stations like www.unitedbreaks.fm that aren't
filled with the redundant garbage that Sirius is, I'm getting ready to
drop my subscription. I'd stay around if Boombox was brought back,
but you guys don't give a damn about that type of music.

I've got to hand it to you, you guys managed to completely ruin Area
38 and Boombox all in one sweep, and now you are ruining other
channels trying to fix it. Quite an accomplishment, I must say.

Sounds from the first minute that you might enjoy the Caliente Channel? Jk.

Good job providing the links to the songs, however, coming from someone who only listens to rap the only difference I can tell is the 182 song sounds a little wussy/teenish.

I suggest you go here and become a "music director" and join alt nations survey group and tell them what you think. I did (to hip hop nation), it gives you songs, then you rate them as love, like, ok and hate....make sure you say "hate" to 182.

I'd also like to suggest that you try the other stations, set your presets to XMU, Faction, Lithium and Underground Garage and others. When a song comes on you don't like press your presets and check these stations.

Sometimes I switch to Pop 2k, 20on20, The Heat and Shade 45 to catch songs I like. Almost always playing a song I like...sure beats hitting 5 commercials on my way to work.

I totally agree with you and that's a prime example of how frustrating it is to listen to Alt Nation and even Sirius/XM U at times... Also reminds me of how lame terrestrial radio has become over the years (KROQ in LA for example).

Perhaps we're too snobby or picky as listeners but I've taken my snotty money else where for the time being Sirius/XM obviously don't need it..
