Scion/Pioneer HU in my Toyota - New Sirius issues

I have had this HU in my Matrix, with the Sirius Connect system from a Scion tC, for over 2 years:

I allowed my subscription to expire in August. It worked perfectly until then.

The other night I resubbed, and it was working great.

Today, The SAT button won't activate the satellite until the car warms up inside. (-9 degrees Celsius today)

It worked great before, and once things warm up, it works great.

    Anyone else have this problem?

That sort of behavior is typical of electronics in really cold conditions. Ever leave your cell phone in the car during the winter and then try to use it?

OH yes, I know all about that.

But 2 winters ago, it was -28 and this worked with no problems. That's what's got me wondering if something is starting to fail.

I checked all the connections, everything is ok. but it seems that after wiggling the antenna plug in the Sirius box under the dash, it started working fine. Now.

Not sure if that's the problem after all, because when the antenna is not working, right, it should say 'ANTENNA' on the screen.....right?
