I don't want to come across as optimistic when I'm still relatively pessimistic about the stock getting out of its hole, but set the time scale on your trader software to hourly over two weeks, and add a simple moving average upper indicator and set it to 13, 30, 60, and 75, and SIRI north of the line. As a guy that uses trendlines to support decision making, I am seeing steady improvement from the 14-cent support level on 11/25/08, and yes, SIRI is probably catching a small wave driven by GM and Ford, but trendlines don't lie. Let's see if SIRI gets an additional boost today at the retail store level.

    Long SIRI, and holding.

One quick caution ... price climbed a flag pole, moved up fast, this morning so watch for retracement. Still, compared to Wednesday's close we've already seen a 30% gain this morning. I would be happy if I got in at the bottom but over my six buys so far I am at 1.15--still a way to go to breakeven for me. But up is up and good....

when the sp was 17.5 on wednesday I was -84.89%. Right now my position is -80.85%, an improvement of 4.04% in my position. Are we screwed? Many of us remain so, but a morning like this one makes me smile.

Looks like a pause right now, but price is moving gradually again toward resistance at .23. It would be a good sign if .23 became the support level today.

On the 10-minute scale and starting at 10:30 a.m., we have what appears to be an ascending triangle pattern forming. We only have a couple of price touch points to work with so far and price is near the bottom line, but an upward breakout occurs 70% of the time in such a pattern, so it's worth watching. I'm not trading it, by the way, just monitoring price action. Each time I see a pattern that looks promising I watch it, because if the breakout is up and confirms, then my loss level gets reduced. Wish I could view improvement as an add to a winning position, but where SIRI goes I am happy to measure improvement as movement toward break even.

I'm probably monitoring too closely and should just do so at the weekly scale, because right now the pattern I mentioned above appears busted and it seems some horizontal consolidation is going on. Oh well, getting to and through .23 looked promising earlier. I'm posting too much so I'll only chime in again if I see something significant. Let's see what the balance of Black Friday means for SIRI....
