What do you mean? As in "paid" do you mean a monthly payment above your monthly subscription? There is a Windows Mobile app called SelectRadio that you pay for once, but it's free to use after that as long as you are an XM and/or Sirius subscriber. AT&T and other carriers offer an XM app with limited channels and a monthly fee on top of your regular XM subscription.

I assume that there will be an initial cost for the app...

I was referring to paying for the app on iTunes. I dont expect it to be free as far as no subscription. If it would be, that would be awesome.

It will be free if you already have a current Sirius and/or XM sub after the initial cost of the app....

Wrote an email to the two main people in charge of the StarPlayr app. They basically said "No Comment". No information from them. Perhaps Apple is the next target for questions...

Thanks Newman. There is certainly something keeping this train in the station. The players have to be:

    1. Developers - No
    2. Apple
    3. AT&T
    4. Sirius

I happened to talk to one developer about an unrelated app at the time and he was upfront and said it's going to get approval, they're just exactly sure when. He did give a time frame. It turned out he was right on the ball and a few weeks later, the app was approved.

My take is that if the developer wont say anything, that's not a good thing. Forget about getting anything from Apple.

I did email apple regarding the application. As expected, no respose yet.

AT&T cant/wont do anything. They have no control over Apple's business. Maybe I will try Sirius, but since they have virtually nothing to do with the App... who knows.
