    Signal question ?

Can clouds, a totally cloudy day, effect signal quality? Are the indoor antenna and the car roof mount antenna, equal in their reception capabilities or is one better than the other? I hope these are not to dumb of questions. I'm old, what can I say.Thank you.

Clouds, rain or snow will not effect the signal reception.

The car antenna is designed to operate on a flat metal surface, its performance will degrade if it is used in any other way.

If you are using an outdoor antenna you have to experiment with its location. The Sirius satellites move in the sky so pointing the antenna towards the south is not the best strategy.

Thank you for the replys. I think you have explained why my using the cartop antenna in the window of the house sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.
