Yes, by hedge funds.
I was unaware of the Russell rebalance today. I have been working on a marketing plan for my boss all month and only been checking this stock ocassionally. I initially though...
I did. Hedge funds not MM's then.
I've checked other deletions. You are correct, the blip was caused by the Russell rebalance. Perhaps some hedge funds rebalancing their books.
Look, the MM's can see the stops.... the stock had a run in the last few days... many trailing stops and regular stops were placed... do the math...
On the other hand, they needed to rebalance...
I am lazy. Perhaps you can check out www.investopedia.com. I do not know if they have an explanation but thats a place to start.
They are supposed to do the matching smoothly. The short squeeze occured over the last few days, not in the last minute of trading today. The blip today was manipulation.
You have the general idea.
Do you know there's a specialist for the stock this stock ? Do you know who it is ?
Not every stock has a specialist.
Look I explained all this several months ago...
I do not use static stops.
Do you know what a trailing stop is ?
Do you know what a market maker is ?
Who do you think you are selling to when you are selling and buying from when you buy ? Not me or anybody on this site that's for sure.
That's not true.
Now, that is what I call manipulation ... How many stops did it hit ?
