I have had my xmp3 replaced by pioneer I think 3 times now for free, good customer service, they know these radios stop working. The only hassle was dealing with the incredibly easily confused call...
it will only record the whole song if you were on the channel from the beginning of the song
yeah, you could do that, it won't gain you any room for other recordings though.
also, if you do shut off the autorecordings it may save your battery if its out of the cradle because the unit...
you can't delete the auto recordings, but thats ok because they are not allocated for use by the user anyway...meaning you can't use that memory it uses. Auto recordings drop off by themselves when...
no, im still on my first xmp3 from march and i use it daily for hours...
sorry to hear (no pun intended)
you know i haven't tried it but i see it is possible to add a recording to a playlist....in that case you could probably add several sessions to a playlist and then play from "playlists"

So far so good. It does appear there is some problem with the memory getting full that is possibly caused when removing the unit from the base when its recording, but not confirmed what causes it. ...
I have read some people having that issue but very few...Mine has shut down on me twice, one time i think because it was not in the car cradle well enough....

I can get the satellite with it undocked through about 1 wall, ceiling and roof...anymore than that and it fades out.
Contact someone at www.TSSradio.com, they will be willing to help, and may also see this here and answer soon...
By the way DenB, I downloaded the firmware update and record everyday with no problems. My computer however does meet the criteria.
Yes. While you have the most advanced satellite radio on the market (sorry S2 fans you may argue the same) it is a satellite that you are getting the signal from.
I suggest that you purchase an...
I don't know for sure but I read that the important part of the update is to eliminate the fade in and fade out of recordings. Many people seem content without the update.
Works great still, very convenient. If you didn't see there is a new $80 rebate from pioneer until august 30...
ok so I ended having to restore and delete the device...this may be why they are down to $149 now? It did not bother me at all...I really had no use for listening to recorded contant after i had...
I ran out of memory, but nothing was showing in my recorded content list.
I found the solution for this online....
1. Hookup to the computer
2. open XM2go music manager
3. find and delete...
Removing the antennae on the car probably only works if you're hard wired into the back of the radio, because it definitely did not work with the FM transmitter.
I found out that I can plug one...
Still going strong with no issues.
I read somewhere that removing the cars antennae helps with the FM transmission from the car kit....i might try it if i remember. Since running the xmp3 car kit...
Ok, finally after 3 weeks the weather was nice enough last night to get the antennae properly outside of the vehicle....i noticed that the wire to the antennae likely is also part of the FM...
"scheduled recordings" are when you choose to record a channel and time, with the option of daily, weekly or today.
I was reading about the "Scheduled recording" malfunction if you will and it...
What a wonderful day lounging in the backyard listening to the XMP3 on headphones....
Excellent feature of the XMP3: One movement of the round dial brings up the station you're listening to, and...
Just: good thinking, still, strange that the radio needs the reciever...
Car kit works excellent. Unit charges, external antennae gets full bars, and LOW AND BEHOLD...it actually does have...
I dont understand why the vehicle doesnt have a sat radio but does have the antennae? are you sure, check the radio
