I can assume 32K is on the internet. If 32K was over the bit rate for the SAT signal, it would sound horrible. I'm not even sure you can do stereo at 32K.

Does anyone know the bitrate that Sirius XM uses when sending the stream. I compare the quality to FM and I can tell that they do compress the stream. For music, analog FM sounds better than SAT...
