But all of the headlines read "Sirius Reports $4.88 Billion loss" and some articles do not...

And next quarter when they report great earnings, I wander what number they will use as the Q3 earnings... the 4.88 BILLION LOSS that EVERYONE is quoting now, or the lesser adjusted loss that nobody...

So what does this "impairment charge" actually cost the company?

Its all in numbers right? All of these people who are saying Sirius "lost" 4.88 billion mean absolutely nothing?
