Sirius Disorder was one of the best format free stations of all time, and I'm so disappointed and disgusted that they canceled/merged it into the Loft.
Someone started a Facebook group to work to bring it back. You can check it out at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=33348129081
The problem with the narrow channels is there is no room for discovery of new music or things outside the narrow format. With Disorder, you never knew what you would run into next.
It is a real loss for the music and I think for the business at Sirius. While Disorder fans may have been smaller in number than for the hits stations, I'm sure that its listeners had a lot of impact on subscribers. Disorder fans know a lot of genres and could pitch their knowledge of the whole line up to friends and relatives.
I couldn't agree more. Next to Howard, I listened to Disorder more than any other channel.
