Lobbyists Pushed off Advisory Panels. Why Didnt Republicans Ever do this? Corruption?

Just another example of the attempt on the part of the Obama administration to change how things are done in DC. Why is it that the Republicans did NOTHING during their time in control to change anything to do with lobbying and money influence in Washington DC? I think the answer unfortunately is obvious.
