Streaming (128) vs satellite sound quality

Hi I have an iPhone and was looking at the SkyDock.
My question is, other than the expanded programming, in terms of sound quality, which is better? The sound coming out of the premium online at 128 over 3G or satellite signal from a SkyDock?

Is variable bitrate on spotty 3G network true 128kbps?

128k over the internet feed is better sound quality then the satellite feed... which is sad IMHO.
