IMHO there are far too many interested parties in Washington for this deal not to take place. There are too many satellites floating in space and investment capital on the line. Besides, it makes good sense.

While I have not written an article as yet about my opinion on passage, I would like to interject a thought here.
Congress closes session on October 26th. I feel we will not get any news prior to that date.
I would place the window for a decision between November 5th and November 19th, with more weight on the later dates in that range. Of course, this is only my opinion.
Many of the congressmen and congresswomen who expressed opinion on the merger did so prior to having all of the information.
