SirriusXM constantly telling me what station I am listening to

I am a few days into my XM subscription and I have been noticing that all the stations I am listening to are constantly identifying themselves after every 1 or 2 songs. Example, after 10 songs I have heard "your listening to 80's on 8" at least 8 times. Is this normal or i some strange demo mode that I don't know about?

Station id's happen more/less depending what station you're listening to... it happens.

If you listen online or via the app you can utilize MySXM to cut out the id's and dj chatter.

But after every song? Thats seems a little much.

I'd say. None of the stations I listen to have station id's after every song. You should send feedback to the channel, they do listen; http://www.siriusxm.com/80son8 on the right hand side there is an email address and a link to post publicly on their facebook page.
