So I have a old ST100. Is there no new hardware because no one wants to do R&D is Sirius/XM goes under.
Should I think about ST2 ?
That are your thoughts?
Thanks!

Did you mean SL100 (stiletto)? If so there are still accessories for it. Also, if you meant ST2 then that's an old starmate that has since been discontinued. I think you may have meant the SL2 (stiletto 2). I have one myself and I love it. I used to use a stiletto 100 but I have since upgraded and I like how it works better. I am also happier with the WIFI since the last one. I don't use the MP3 option very much but I do like knowing that I can add a bunch if I want to.
i think there is a delay on new radios because they switched suppliers...
check out this deal though, its practiclly free...i have one and love it

The XMP3 is nice, but no WIFI. To me this is one of the largest advantages to having the stiletto 2. I had a choice between the two and I decided to go with the stiletto 2 mostly because of the WIFI option. Now when I'm at the gym I can listen off of their WIFI. I can't have that with the XMP3. It's a great player, but falls short of the Stiletto 2.
When we we see new hardware?
It's been so long!

Matt from TSS said on the other thread that he expects the new supplier Audiovox to come out with something by christmas.
I keep searching for "Sirius XM new radio Leak" to see if somethings gotten leaked.
Just to correct people Audiovox Distributes SIRIUS products, but most of those products in particular the core Radios are developed, and engineered by SIRIUS XM and Audiovox deals with the distribution. This was the same with Directed.
The only stuff that Audiovox or Directed actually developed and had made in house were some of the accessories.
I think there will be some cool stuff to look forward to this Holiday season. I don't think a new portable will be out this year though. Maybe in 2010.
