Powerful Hollywood women unveil anti-harassment action plan
New York Times, Jan 1 2018
Driven by outrage and a resolve to correct a power imbalance that seemed intractable just months ago, 300 prominent actresses and female agents, writers, directors, producers and entertainment executives have formed Time's Up, an ambitious, sprawling initiative to fight systemic sexual harassment in Hollywood and in blue-collar workplaces nationwide. The initiative includes a legal defense fund, backed by $13 million in donations, to subsidize legal support for "women and men who have experienced sexual harassment, assault, or abuse in the workplace." The initiative also includes legislation to penalize companies that tolerate persistent harassment and to discourage the use of nondisclosure agreements to silence victims.

Time's Up
The clock has run out on sexual assault, harassment and inequality in the workplace. It's time to do something about it. No more silence. No more waiting. No more tolerance for discrimination, harassment or abuse.

Erica Vladimer, former counsel and analyst with the New York Senate, said, “All of a sudden there was a hand on the back of my head and he shoved his tongue down my throat." And of course Klein denies the accusation. What percentage of accused men admit to their sexual abuse? I don't think it's more than 1%. Maybe closer to 0.5%.
