New boom box- don't work

I just purchased an XACT Model XS097 boom box for my Sirius Xact XTR7 receiver. The CD part works ok, and the am/fm part works ok, but I can't get any sound when I use the satellite part. The receiver works okay, I get a good signal, just no sound. I've done everything I can think of- checked power, checked antenna connection, checked the mode, made sure the switch is in the "sat" position, no headphones attached, read the manual cover to cover, and now I'm at a loss. By the way, this is the second unit I've gotten. The first one didn't work at all, so this one is the replacement. And I'm at work on the graveyard shift, so nobody to call for help. Any info will be greatly appreciated! Thank you very much in advance!!!
