Q4 earnings are expected to be announced before market hours on February 23, 2009

Well, the 2/17/09 debt issue is old news. 60% spike close to what I expected.

Q4 earnings are expected to be announced before market hours on February 23, 2009 Estimates- High : -0.06 | Med: -0.066 | Low: -0.08

Any one wants to take a bet ?

I'd say they will be on the High side: -.06 perhaps -.05. If that is the case I expect the stock to trade in .15-.20 range before 2/23 and then spike to .22-.25

ps: I spent close to $1,000 USD on SIRI today. Now I am the proud owner of 5200 shares & 8 naked calls. I sold 32 calls and 20 puts. I have an open order to sell another 20 calls.
Not much, but like I said, I am quite conservative compared to you guys. I will see tomorrow if I spend another grand on SIRI and maybe another one Thursday and another Friday before the earnings. It will all depend on how I feel about it...

ps: I am accumulating cheap Delphi debt also. They'll come out of BK...

i;m expecting -.05 to -.046....for Q4 and -03 for Q1 09

how much did you make on the puts

SO - do you even know what a naked call is? This statement certainly implies that you don't. A hint - you don't OWN them... Naked calls are risky contracts that you write when you don't own the underlying equity. Now go google it and come back and act like you know more than everyone else.

Do you even know how many shares an equity option contract is ?

Do you even know how much is 800 * $0.05 ? Do you know how far is $0.14 from $2.50 ? Exactly.

Write them ,own them, whatever just a technicallity, you understood didn't ya ?. I own (bear or whatever) the risk.

Why I chose 8 ? I was drunk I guess. Like right now.

E*trade. I do not know if they have announced it anywhere else.

I think we'll see an official PR sometime tomorrow about the earnings announcement.

OK, let me ask you something... I began posting on this forum 4 months ago, back then SIRI was trading above $1.00 and I started yelling, "do not buy, do not buy", was I right ? I NEVER told anyone to short the damn stock.

Now the minute I switched to be a bullsih SIRI, I started missing my projections and making mistakes... and BTW, Demian, starts telling me that I am wrong !!! Of course I am wrong, I stupidily, jumped to the other side !!!

No more, I am going back to my roots... whether I am called anti-siri or a jerk!! Hey, I make money on the other side, so who cares ?
