The FCC comment stage or the Notice of Proposed Rule-making ended yesterday, August 13, 2007.  In a small flurry of filings, there were some notable filings that came out against the change in rules.  As expected, Sirius and XM filed their stance, as well as the NAB, but there were also a handful of Senators and Congressmen (which seem to be developed from a common template), as well as radio stations that also filed.

Reply Comments are now due to the FCC bu August 27, 2007.  Readers can express their reply comments to the Proposed Rule-making by using the same link where FCC comments were filed.  Be sure to enter "07-57" in the proceeding box.
