John Madden Returns for His Fourth NFL Season on Sirius
Today Sirius announced that veteran NFL broadcaster and Super Bowl winning head Coach John Madden will return for his fourth season as a commentator on Sirius NFL Radio, channel 124.
Throughout the 2007 NFL season, Madden will join fellow Sirius hosts Adam Schein and Gil Brandt every Sunday on The Stadium Tailgate Show, which airs Sundays from 9am - 12pm ET. I think a more fitting channel for the living legend king of babble would probably Raw Dog but I will take any opportunity I can to listen to his famous mind boggling one liners.
To win in this league, you have to score more points than the other team. –John Madden

Sirius has set up a new program that will allow fans to vote online to determine which driver’s in-car audio will air on SIRIUS additional channels. This new feature will add even more fan interaction to a new set of channels that is already overflowing with it.
I personally don’t see any reason why my fellow red blooded Americans wouldn’t have their butts parked in a chair at some super bowl party watching and waiting for another possible nipple slip. If you can’t make it to a TV or maybe don’t have any friends there is still hope for all you loyal Sirius subscribers. Sirius will air an expanded lineup of live play by play broadcasts of Super Bowl XLI. Sirius will offer ten different game calls in seven languages, including both local radio broadcasts and the national CBS Radio Sports broadcast.
SIRIUS Satellite Radio recently announced that they will present live radio coverage of NASCAR races starting in 2007, making listeners feel like they are on top of their favorite team’s pit box on race day. The plan is that SIRIUS will be dedicating 10 channels to exclusively cover the actual pit crew and drivers in car communications. You will be able to hear the actual microphone chatter and strategies the teams use on race day. I am not a fan of NASCAR myself but this sounds like it could be some real fun. What do these guys actually say to each other that you can’t hear live on television? Will it be truly uncensored like the rest of Sirius’s programming? If so we might be in for some real rowdy red neck fun.
The National Basketball Association and SIRIUS Satellite Radio, announced today a new exclusive programming lineup on NBA Radio on SIRIUS, channel 127, the first 24/7, year-round radio channel devoted to the NBA. On top of featuring over 1000 regular season games, they will also broadcast every game of the NBA Playoffs and The Finals.
