Art Bell Leaves SiriusXM
Art Bell, the radio icon that joined the SiriusXM line-up on September 16th is leaving the air after just a month and a half. While passionate satellite radio fans may not want to hear it, his reasons for leaving boiled down to three main things:
- SiriusXM’s web player is notoriously unreliable, causing a loss of subscribers and a degraded listening experience for those who remain listening online.
- For a “caller driven” show, the caller pool for art’s show is just too small.
- International listeners have no legitimate way to hear the show.
This is not the first time that we have heard issues relating to the Internet platform offered up by SiriusXM. There have been a host of issues from the functionality to being booted off, to having longer shows reset from the beginning after an hour and a half, making it almost impossible to listen to a 2 hour show on demand.
When signed by SiriusXM, Bell had only glowing things to say:
“SiriusXM is the perfect fit for me and my new show Art Bell’s Dark Matter,” said Art Bell. “Though invisible, dark matter accounts for gravitational forces observed in the universe—expect these forces to be at work in the uncensored, unrestricted creative arena of satellite radio, a medium with truly extraterrestrial reach.”
It would appear that after just a short period of time, second thoughts emerged.
The departure of Bell, as unfortunate as it is, should be a signal to SiriusXM. The company has a compelling product, great content, and great potential, but in some ways has lost the edge that it once had. The frustrations of Bell can be heard on other channels as well. Opie & Anthony, Howard Stern, Jay Thomas, and others have all at times expressed a great deal of frustration. In some ways, the complaints of on air personalities ring back to the old FM days of terrestrial radio, a path that many consumers and on air personalities could not wait to get away from.
Bell is a radio icon, and will continue his show on the web. It is unfortunate that SiriusXM could not match up to his needs. Consumers can only hope that SiriusXM takes this issue seriously. There are indeed issues with the Internet platform as well as sound quality. Yes, Bell was probably expecting too many callers too quickly and did not give his show time to develop an audience from the pool of those willing to pay for radio, but Bell’s issues should not and can not be ignored.
From an investors perspective, there are not really any silver linings here. No, the departure of bell will not send the equity crashing, but the implications are not good either. If a personality such as Bell can not draw an audience with him, what does it say about other content? If a personality like Bell has a solution on the web that meets his needs better, what does that say about getting more talent to come to satellite and stay?
Whether we as investors like it or not, the sex appeal of satellite radio is not what it used to be. Satellite radio seems to have lost the leading edge. No, SiriusXM is not going to fail, but the cache is not what it once was. The satellite empire is not crumbling, but it is at a point where it may need to “re-invent” itself.
There will be a day when Stern retires. There may be a day when Opie & Anthony have had enough. As each year passes it seems that SiriusXM is becoming more like the FM radio we all wanted to tear apart. Yes, SiriusXM is better, but the options for listeners are increasing and SiriusXM needs to pay attention sooner rather than later. The company has done so many wonderful things in getting to where it is. It may be time to up the ante again.
Best of Luck to Art Bell in his ventures.
I appreciated reading your well-worded, logical article after having my world ‘rocked’ from finding out, moments ago, that Art Bell has left Sirius. Your article states, “Bell is a radio icon, and will continue his show on the web.” What do you mean by that? Do you know something that we don’t know? Before I get my hopes up, I would like to know your source on that.
I would check his website for updates. It sounds like he will broadcast from his own site
Sadly, this reminds me of his last few years on AM. He’d come in for a few shows and disappear with an excuse that – while valid – didn’t seem to fully explain the need to disappear from the air.
It seems to me that he likes the idea of having a show a bit more than the idea of doing a show day after day after day. When he’s there, he’s excellent and that’s why we all listen. He’s able to get radio gold out of some real duds at times. In the end, it seems he just got tired. His reasons given are true, yet it feels like an excuse.
As others have said, he doesn’t owe us a show or an excuse. But it still really sucks, and I don’t think we’ll hear much more from Art. Maybe a few web shows, but that will end pretty much the way this has. That’s how I see it going.
We’ll miss you Art.
hope this sets all his fan base straight ,art will be back when he comes back. we the listeners don’t own him ,he is free to do as he wants . thanks for your time art . stuart
Thanks for that George Lucas. Art Bell just emptied his bowels on his fans, MANY of whom did follow him to Sirius with mega “Roswells,” radios, and subscriptions paid.
What do you mean, “George Lucas?”
You sound like a spoiled child. He didn’t pull the plug to inconvenience you or any of his fans. He did it because Sirius couldn’t deliver a web experience that would satisfy the fans. He was obviously excited to be back on the air, and he will be back in another format.
Hum. Wow. No Art pulled the plug because he could not get his own way, sounds like to me. I think your confused as to who is acting like the spoiled child. Heck seams like everyone but Art Bell knew what to expect from Sirius. Even the famous spooled child Howard Stern did not abandon his fans, unless maybe the departure was not Art’s idea to begin with.
I subscribed years ago to Sirius for Howard stern. After Artie left the show, it really went downhill. The show is horrible compared to the early Sirius days or the terrestrial days. So I just signed back up when art made his return, and i had issues listening to art bell live despite paying 15 dollars a month for Internet only. I am canceling my susbscription tomorrow bc art was the only reason I bothered to subscribe.
Sirius has made some good changes since I last had the service years ago, but if I can’t listen on my iPhone on a cable modem connection then it is the fault of Sirius. I wish they would have worked with art on this, but since they didn’t I am leaving as a customer. No idea why Sirius didn’t try to fix the problems for a guy who had a 15 million listener audience just a little over a decade ago, but that was their choice. Art will probably try to do a streaming show from his website next, which will prob be a big hit compared to Sirius.
XM has just finished cutting Coast to Coast, Alex Jones and some others, and now Bell quits. Good radio means good talent. They need to bring back these shows that entertain. It’s not just the music. I have plenty of music. Maybe they should syndicate some of their talent. That’s what Bell wants, and oh yes more money…if he wants to work that is…
I was just getting into the show and now it’s gone. Bummer. Hopefully he’ll be back soon on the interwebs.
Once again Sirius/XM has let another great show go…If they keep it up, they will continue to lose the loyal listeners who subscribed only because of the programming..With the loss of Coast to Coast, the largest syndicated show in its time slot and now ArtBell, you are sure to lose listeners..Bad move for XM and bad move for Clear Channel Communications for dropping the channels they did with XM..Apparently the executives at XM and Clear Channel do not look at the ratings and must want to see their profit margin drop, because that is the route they are heading!!!
Well this is disappointing to me as well. I subscribed to the online service just for Art Bell and was really excited about him being back. I really don’t understand the justification – I can’t understand that Art was disillusioned with Satellite Radio – It is what it is. My guess is, Art has discovered that Sat radio just doesn’t do for him what terrestrial radio does. I think his best move is to get back on AM. Even though most everyone has a computer, smart phone, and/or table, A web based presence just won’t work because you loose the ‘on the road’ market, especially your truckers. I think Art has to get back to AM and syndication! Either way, I hope he comes back somewhere. I can’t stand ‘C2C RightWing Radio’ and Art seems the only viable alternative. Hopefully there is not some None Compete agreement looming over his head.
I 100% agree that Sirus/XM has been foolish in removing the best programming. I voiced my complaint to Clear Channel and had absolutely no response. I will also cancel my subscription, and I have been a subscriber for many, many eons. I don’t listen to music, I only listen to talk shows and though I have given those replacing the “best” shows, they don’t cut it. What about Randi Rhodes too. I have asked when CtoC returns to let me know, then I may reup.
This wasn’t the fault of the service, this was 100% classic Art. Just up and quit, Art, fade into obscurity and leave behind a joke of a legacy. Your excuses are weak, why can’t you just say “I really didn’t want to do the show after all” instead of blaming the format?
I think you are spot on. Art needed a circle jerk. He got it and now he is done. Fact is, four hours with one guest is too much. even with callers. Art needed a producer for this show and not some stooge in NYC manning the master control. He needed two guests and a format… lacked format. like it of not, commercial breaks act as act break that leads to building end and hypes the return.. this show had none of this..
I have been with Sirius from the beginning and unfortunately with Art leaving this is another nail in the SiriusXM coffin for me. Art was the last hope in me renewing my subscription. Between Art leaving and Howard on air 3 days a week, at best, I see no reason to pay close to 200$/year when there is so many free internet radio alternatives ie TuneIn, Pandora and iTunes radio. I also find that the music rotation on SXM is horrible compared to interenet radio as well. If you listen to a specific SXM channel at work it’s not uncommon to hear the same artist/song multiple times in a couple hours
I wish to voice my anger and disappointment towards Mr. Bell’s decision to terminate his show with Sirius. His reasons for leaving his obligation to me sound petty and juvenile. He agreed to produce the show. He advertised his show with Sirius, and at that time, he shared none of his concerns with listeners who considered purchasing a subscription to listen to his program. I was one of those listeners. I went through legitimate channels and paid my money, and now Mr. Bell simply decides to quit his program the moment things do not go to his complete liking, or because he feels there are sound quality issues? Give me a break. And he knew Sirius did not cover European markets when he signed on, so he has no right to use that as a good reason to simply stop now. This unprofessional behavior has led me to see the light when it comes to Mr. Bell. He will not receive any more of my support in the future. I hope no one else decides to pay whatever subscription fee Mr. Bell tries to hoodwink on people if he chooses to broadcast from his own site.
I totally agree with your comments. My disappointment with SiriusXM has been compounded by my disappointment with Art. I listened to every episode of Dark Matter via SiriusXM online “On Demand” feature and never had any issues with sound quality. I would have to refresh every couple of hours or so but a couple mouse clicks the show always picked right up where I left off. I actually liked this feature if I stepped away from the computer for a while.
Back to Coast To Coast on TuneIn Radio for me.
Well said! Don’t know all the unpublished details of what really happened, but the appearance is that Bell is just a weiner who walked away and used a bunch of bogus excuses (I suspect that C2C choked his list of same old same old guests). Bell also seems to be an establishment man, or playing that role. No conspiracies in his world.
There is a wealth of rising talent out on the Internet and on Youtube. Snoory would be wise to start exploring some of those people and give up his tired old worn out list of guests.
Can we get our money back from Sirius? I paid for an annual subscription just to hear Art !! I wish he would have cancelled during the 30 day trial !!
I for one am getting tired of Art Bell’s constant complaints about sound quality, reliability of the app and web and complaining about stupid crap like phone sound quality.
99% this stuff isn’t a problem.
The show just boiled down to Art Bell complaing about all sorts of crap and not really doing a lot of talk radio.
I for one am done with him in any format.
I did notice the caller base seemed different from his usual type of callers …during the spooky matter show it seemed as tho Art was mocking some of the callers? he seemed ….bored.. seemed to me not as engaging as years. I do think he has lost his huge fan base hence really bad caller pool.
That’s a really good point. Looking back now, I think I noticed Art being real curt and short with folks really in the Sept 23rd show with Jeremy Meador. I thought Art was borderline rude with him. Did a poor job of listening to Meador. Certainly treated him far less kindly as he treated Linda Moulton Howe, who is a lot less authentic than Meador seemed to be. Seems Art’s got an awful chip on his shoulder for whatever reason.
I guess everyone here did not listen to the last part of Spooky Mater Show !
Art said he was trying to make the LIVE SHOW FREE ON HIS WEB SITE TO EVERYONE !
He was waiting to hear from the Big Boys at SIRIUS .
Keep an eye on Arts Dark Matter Page.
Nothing is Over !
Stay Tuned !
Tin Pan
Eitherway, I’m tired of Art.
He signed the contract. He knew there was a limited audience. Now he wants to take his ball and go home like a big baby. I don’t really care if he’s upset with not being able to broadcast his show on his website. Sirius/XM was paying him to do the show on their channel, why should they let him give away what their customers are paying for?
I like many renewed my subscription for a year because Art was going to be on. Now I spent $200+ to support Art and listen to his program and it’s down the tube.
This is very immature, very unprofessional and I hope people boycot him in the future.
he wanted the show to stream free for a year, till sirius fixed the problem with the streaming.. its not like he wanted the show to be free forever
if he signed a no compete clause again it is over.
Like a once dominant athlete now past his prime, maybe it’s time for Art to call it quits. Or put out a weekly podcast. Either is fine with me. Luckily I didn’t sign up for a yearly subscription with SiriusXM like some people did.
I will take his spot than! We had a show a few years ago called the “WOW FACTOR” only streaming and had over a 1MM listeners and was a VOLUNTEER show about everything from Conspiracy, UFO’s to JFK Assassination and more! We stopped it because my co-host and I decided that making some $ would be nice!
Later folks!
ART BELL is my pal and great friend. Hopefully his OWN SHOW with Sirius/XM will get on board!
Adam Carolla does not seem to have any problem making money with his free podcasts. What were you doing wrong with your 1M audience. With 1M listeners, you could publish it on YouTube and make a 6-figure income from YouTube Partner ad sharing alone.
Could finally be “end times” for George. He talked about it enough and even had the nerve to play “It’s Over”
Sounds like he expected all his AM listeners to just show up without hum having to actually work on building an audience.
lazy + pompous
I doesn’t matter if he comes back on a webcast or whatever media he chooses I paid for a a yearly subscription to SiriusXM so what do people in my position do? Maybe it time for Art to pack up the cats and move back to the Philippines, I feel like I’ve been Roswelled!!
Unreliable Internet Player………REALLY!! I’ve been a Sirius subscriber for years and have NO issues with the web player on my home computer. I have listed to most of Art’s shows along with streaming music and the show Busted Open and have never had an issue with live streaming or the On Demand feeds. My mobile fees have been problematic on my smartphone, but I usually attributed that to my wireless provider. I will sorely miss Dark Matter on SiriusXM. FWIW my Internet provider is Windstream DSL with less than 3 Mbps down stream feed.
Hi John In fairness I had a constant problems with he internet player I could never get it working and when it did it would be in and out. I had to use a tablet to listen to Art.
How disappointing. I wonder how many people spent money on subscriptions to listen to Art Bell show, and now there screwed. Hey, Art did you not give SirusXM a listen and try before you agreed to sign with them? You should have known what you were getting into here, and I suspect you did. Hope you know what you doing here. I know it is hard to see down from that ivory tower at times. Just be careful, at this rate you will not have any listeners left, no matter where you broadcasting from.
Not having the ability to pay for service, I’d been listening via Shoutcast live each night, or on Youtube the next day. I don’t understand that Art wouldnt know how many folks were listening the way I did. Heck, I even was able to send a message on the ‘wormhole’ and he replied. Seems to me that there’s something more afoot. I don’t believe that Art would be the sort to hang it up without achieving greater success.
I think everyone is a bit “right” here.
I’m a big AB fan from back in the late 90’s and I too suscribed to SiriusXm just for Art.
That said, I think Art is just not happy with the situation he created, and is storming off with all his toys.
I also feel that SiriusXm was being hard-headed by not allowing some flexibility for Art’s special needs.
I never had any problems with listening in my car, on my computer or on my iPhone. Sound quality was awesome too. So I’m not sure what Arts gripes on that are about.
As for the international listeners, if the web player doesn’t work for them, then they are indeed screwed out of listening.
The only people who are really losing out here– is we the listeners.
Hope Art pops back up somewhere soon. There is nothing else out there that is comparable (including coast to coast am).
I guess some common sense here is required. First of all, SiriusXX is not intended to be a worldwide service. Art I’m sure knew that when he signed what I would think was a lucrative contract. Wanting to change the rules after the game starts seems a bit childish to me. Four days a week and working from his home was certainly nice of Sirius to accommodate Art. If Art wanted to give his show to everyone, then he make a big mistake by signing on with Sirius. Art being in the Ham Radio world for quite some time and in Commercial AM/FM Radio should know that Internet Streaming is vastly different from the two aforementioned services. After bashing Premiere Networks and now the spat with Sirius, I am wondering who will now offer him a viable outlet for his declining stock. Perhaps Art should take a step back and relearn from his successor at C2CAM – the superb George Noory.
Not sure how Art thinks he’s going to host his own radio show if a company as large as SXM can’t do it… I wonder if Art realizes how expensive the servers are going to be to stream to tens of thousands of people.
this reminds me of the old days on am radio “they are after me, i may have to go” followed by DAYS and DAYS of NOTHING on the radio but dead air ….. dead air, art
George Snoory has the show live on his website, archives on his website, live every night on XM radio and AM radio! If siriusXM wont allow Art to stream live and archived shows on his website like they allow George Snoory to do then I will cancel my subscription. Get with the program siriusXM or get out of the radio business.
What a total mindblow! Just went to the site to see who was on tonight and found out Art disappeared like a mouse fart in the wind…again! What is up with this guy??? Paranormal radio is my favorite and I seriously loves this 3 1/2 hr show. I had zero issues and just renewed just for Art. I’m pissed! The best I can hope for is that he takes over C2C and gets Noory off that show and takes over the lead again. Still VERY upset though!
After hearing his announcement and proposal to Sirius last Thursday night I knew the writing was on the wall.
I feel bad for those that purchased xm radios and paid for annual subscriptions.
I heard Art’s complaints and how there were so many people pirating his show. I think his idea was sound, in that if he could stream live shows from his website, at least he could throw some web advertising for Sirius in front of more of these people.
The sad truth these days is there is an entire Napster generation of people that think they are entitled to everything from music/movies/entertainment for free.
They don’t think they are stealing when they listen to Art’s show on illegal websites.
I think Art was trying to address the issue as best he could. Granted I think it was very unrealistic to think Sirius would agree to let him stream the live show from his website for free.
I just canceled me web subscription and will wait to find out if and when art shows up someplace else.
@Diceman “The sad truth these days is there is an entire Napster generation of people that think they are entitled to everything from music/movies/entertainment for free.
They don’t think they are stealing when they listen to Art’s show on illegal websites.”
How is Art and SiriusXM any better? they stole subscription money and didn’t deliver.
Hate to say it, but when you sign up for Sirius you are signing up for access to their entire service not just one show. Nobody forces you to sign up. you have to do that voluntarily. So nobody got robbed.
I don’t know how you can blame Sirius at all. How were they supposed to anticipate that Art would have issues after six weeks and that they would part ways so abruptly?
Finally, whether or not Sirius and Art Bell knowingly set out to dupe anyone does not in any way justify people stealing intellectual property by listening to the show on pirating website or you tube without SiriusXM’s permission. Like it or not that is STILL theft.
I loved listening to Art Bell on my new XM radio, but hated
the internet option. I never got to listen to an entire show without interuption and “1001” errors. Online was a real drag.
Online should be free until they get the bugs worked out. Not another $3-4 on top of the $19/month, which is steep to begin with.
I will be following Art to the web, where he can reach an international audience and not have to deal with the XM hula hoops.
I will listen to Howard on XM until my subscription expires, and then that will be the end for me.
The sound quality on XM was great compared to AM/FM radio but the Skype calls were even better than XM.
Art is a perfectionist and values the quality of the exerience for both himself and his listeners.
Rock on and “rage through the night” Art!
We will be waiting for the webcast.
Sincerely,
JT
I
We still love you Art and your reaction last I knew it still is a free country where a man can make his own decisions ..it.may not sit well with others but I’m a trucker and well just roll with whatever you decide ….PS hope its soon
FUBAR-not with a bang but a whimper, indeed.
To you Art.
What a thrill it was to hear you on the air again. I’ve listened since you used to drive to Las Vegas to do your show many, many years ago. You always get interviews that keep me riveted to the set. Now you’re gone and once again you will be missed. I’ve always felt a kinship since we are both radio announcers and I’ve talked to you on our Ham radios. Remember those over 100 hour broadcast marathons we both did in late 1950’s. Being in the business, I can understand how frustrating it can be to work under trying conditions. Doing a live show and keeping it interesting is a super amount of pressure.
Hopefully you’ll be back and maybe you’ll choose to give all of us some idea of why it went south. I have a strong feeling there is a lot more to this story than we have read about. Good luck Art…. Hope to hear you again. Jerry, Spokane
As a wise person has said many times, you can never go back. Art you should have stayed in the Philippines, and kept the two foreigners you brought back with you. I think in this case you would have done everyone a favor. You can never go back, and never come back unless you are absolutely ready. Art was not ready at all. Pretty sad, he has really put a huge stain on his name and now we have two more Filipinos to add to the welfare list (remember, they will spawn). Great!
Geez, attacking his family is really low. Racist comments like yours are totally out of line.
You sir are no JJ Watt. You are scum of this nation. Why the hell would you say something so low and negative. Hey I don’t like the fact that Art lured me back and let me go, but I would never stoop to your level. What a offing scumbag you are!
Would your parents approve of your behavior?
Some have been trying to develop slavery since the ancient Babylonian, Greek, and Roman civilizations failed. Your technology is very similar since WW1 and WW2 failed too. Just a game designed as the inverse of the US Constitutuon played with religion, politics, and gambling like insurance and stocks.
The lower a persons intelligence is, the more likely they are to be a racist. JJ Watts, you sir are a complete moron. I would be willing to bet that your parents are also brother and sister.
Some radio station are just born on third base & go through broadcasting life thinking they hit a stand-up tripple.
The McAfee interview alone, this last week, shared in definable,
measurable terms what is grossly wrong with the Fed.Insurance Care Program Computer Sign-up design & why a patch job won’t make it fly. Yet media has yet to make that design flaw known. Liking Bell or not, he is a master of his craft & has much to off in terms of seeking more light for listeners. “It has yet to be proven that intelligence has any survival value.”
-Authur C Clark
As if Art Bell did not know going into the agreement that Sirius XM was a subscriber based business! He barely has callers who call in. Obviously he has a customer base who do not feel he is worth the money to pay for a subscription.
I Learned so much from Art. He saved my household from Bedbugs! Now that I have Cedarcide.com!
Sorry, to see Art Bell leave. He saved our family from bedbugs. Thanks to CEDARCIDE.COM.
Art hasn’t been the same since Ramona’s death. He has been acting irrationally for years. I think he’s mentally unstable.
All those ciggarettes he smokes have done this to him.People forget that eventually it turns the brain to mush a fact, and they often become psycotic. Most criminals are smokers, and 89% are violent or become violent. All those toxic chemicals 4000+ lead, arsnic, mecury, aluminium, etc,to think so called entilegent people still suck on these in 20th century.
Benny, judging by your grammar, spelling and “facts,” you too are obviously a smoker. Smoking since birth, I’d say. By your science, our president is a psychotic criminal.
Hahaha! Typical idiot who throws insults on my typos yet understood what I said. For your information I spilt vino on my keyboard so my comment came out a bit wonky. But the facts were and are correct, about smokers, you are obviously one of them sucking on the poison. I have never put one of those stinky fags to my lips and why would I want to poison children and people around me. Most cot deaths are caused by 2nd hand smokers and they make non smokers lives miserable! Fact. As for your comment… “By your science, our president is a psychotic criminal..” You said it! Only fact you have right.
Mufaso, you obviously don’t know how to judge a good ole American artist. Please take your personal insults elsewhere.
Art,
come on. it takes a while to rebuild what you had. whether you are a nostalgia phenom or a struggling truth seeker would be something you would struggle with.. times are different then 10 years ago when it was so urgent i listened to you. but your presentation on fukishima was very enlightening. you xm or sirius presence was great for me. i could tape your presentations. and skip through the commercials. you audience will come back. come on
bill
Sirius! Do not blow this!! Allow Art to stream his show … not happy with Sirius, now
Very very disappointed! I signed up for SiriusXM for a year JUST to hear Art Bell’s show. If he doesn’t return to Sirius, I will not be renewing when my year is completed.
Count me in as one who will not pay a *second* subscription to Sirius. Once my car sub runs out, I’m done with them. I wonder if they are going to refund all of the new subscribers who were willing to paying $15 a month to listen to Art, and are now left high and dry.
I’m really hoping Art will find a way to stream his show like he hinted at, but I don’t have high hopes for that lasting either.
Not only did Sirius XM cancel my subscription on Nov. 4, 2013, but they gave me a refund for the rest of my billing period. You’ll only appreciate Art Bell after you begin listening to C2C again and hear George’s Hollywood “friends” he’s impressed with, listen to him make comments that show he’s not really listening to his guests, and hear him get on his medical kick with weight loss campaigns, heart specialists who aren’t doctors, etc.
If Art Bell returns, I’ll jump at a chance to hear him again.
Cachet. Not cache. Writing skills in the digital age surely have plummeted. Sloppy writing reflects sloppy thinking.
Art’s show had so much interesting and useful info. I’m so disappointed and sad that Art Bell won’t be on XM any longer. Please, Please have have him return.
I really miss Art Bell on Coast To Coast AM. I once talked to him by amateur radio an d told him about a really weird experience my son had in Indonesia during the 1st Gulf war. … Perhaps he could retu8rn to Coast To Coast. Perhaps that could be too much competition for the present hosts, but it could increase ratings and advertising revenue if he had really interesting topics and guests, with wonderfully weird topics that so many of us like. My wife has had some very strange experiences, going out of body during near death experiences and during meditation once. She is the author of “Where Is The Music? – The Multiple Near-Death Experiences of a World Traveler.”
Most likely, Commercial American AM radio has been bought by anti-American owners. After all, mind control by media control seems pretty simple for things yet unexplainable.
By the way, that is the way the victor defines history and forces children to be taught by others than parents in the USA regarding history test passing while minors. The trick is escaping those shakles w/a smile and understanding for future generations properly informed of the burdens those genes caused upon themselves while helping them to survive responsibly too.
My ashes will be distributed between the continents and oceans as others see fit. Frankly, I’ll never know which atom lands on the Titanic or even gets close.
The next human God will discover the first NIST traceable Standard of psychology. After all, the cold war ended in 1990 when all Nations agreed on the absolute numbers scientifically definable to somewhere beyond 7 digits ~ 23 yrs ago (and no, NIST didn’t cause or responsible for explaining why 9/11/01 happened).
He didnt say he was quiting, just xm. He’ll be back better than ever!
Have been a long loyal fan… really going to miss the very interesting, and sometimes creepy shows. now I guess its back to coast to coast a.m.
maybe we will hear you again somewhere out there! 🙂
and I also will not renew my subscription due to this.
I was, like many I suspect, greatly contemplating both geting One of those radios, and a sub,to listion to Art.Im glad i didnt now.He needs to go back to am or fm.
Saw it coming.
During his career, Bell has quit, or disappeared for one paranoid reason or another. He then has popped up again so often that
he makes a Jack-in-the-box look reliable.
And as an aside, why wasn’t the death of his wife Ramona investigated as a possible homicide?
Her death was kind of sudden and suspicious, wasn’t it? And then Art goes and finds himself a child-bride not too long afterwards, on the heels of being accused of being a pedophile. I lost total respect for him on the heels of his remarriage.
OUTRAGEOUS thing to say. YOU are abusive and inappropriate!! HOW DARE YOU TALK LIKE THAT?
Jeez Sue, others are allowed to have their own opinions. It’s just OUTRAGEOUS that YOU have to be so defensive.
