Powerful Women’s Organization Supports Merger
Support for the merger continues to pour in to the FCC, and as usual, we will update the FCC comment Scorecard later today. Within the comments filed today was yet another group coming out in support of the merger that we thought was worth highlighting.
Women Impacting Public Policy has come out in support of the merger. In their letter to the FCC the organization noted that the merger will allow female and minority groups more opportunity for programmers, and that overall, consumers will benefit.
This is another organization joining the many that have already come out in support of the merger. Many of the groups represent large memberships. In the case of Women impacting Public Policy, the membership is over 500,000.
